To celebrate the launch of its new video game, Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys, Ignition Entertainment held a launch party at the Nintendo World Store in Rockefeller Plaza and donated all proceeds from sales of the game to BBBS of NYC. Ajay Chadha, President of .Ignition Entertainment, presented us with a $10,000 donation.
During the fun cause marketing retail event, the new Teenage Zombies game (rated E10+) was available to play at every store console and BBBS of NYC materials, a Zombies t-shirt, sticker, and balloon were distributed in goody bags to all attendees. Our banners were displayed and our videos were shown on big screen TVs in the stores. Our adult mentors and children with whom they are matched as well as many other children and their families enjoyed playing the game and having their pictures taken with the Zombie characters.
"This game uses cartoon characters, in the form of zombies, to encourage teamwork and overcoming challenges, which are part of the mentoring relationship. As our partner, Ignition Entertainment appreciates the power of mentoring and is providing much-needed support," said Allan Luks, Executive Director, Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City.
